Libby Carrier Doran spent the first chapter of her career with the US Agency for International Development, managing disaster relief programs for African countries. In 1995, she launched her private sector career with a national management consulting firm, Novations Group. While at Novations, Libby provided business strategy, organization structure, and people systems consulting to large clients nationwide. More recently, Libby spent seven years with a regional executive search firm, where she earned a reputation for her strategically-grounded search work on behalf of small and medium-sized companies, investment firms, and nonprofit organizations.

Libby holds a master's degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College. She serves on the board of Admission Possible, a leading nonprofit college access program for low income kids, and on the Advisory Board of the Minneapolis Foundation’s North Star Fund. Libby and her husband have three young children and reside in Minneapolis, MN.
